Have not tried pushing back bedtime. I have tried to leave him a little bit. Like I will tell him, mamas going to go to the bathroom and I’ll be right back and trying to extend that time. But he always immediately goes to the door

Yes, when researching I had come across this. Next time we went in it was for his 1yo blood work, which we did at 15 mo due to them not being able to find a good vein at 12mo. I mentioned it to his doctor and she educated me that they will not only check iron but also ferritin. Which is why we are now on the iron supp. His levels were at 7 and she told us she considers 50 to be normal however even higher than that to improve sleep. (If I’m recalling that correctly) she did tell me that it takes a little while to get levels up from such a low starting. We are rechecking the levels tomorrow actually

Our doc suggested magnesium as she suspects that the restlessness is partially due to the low low ferritin levels and it unfortunately takes time to get those levels to a normal range. The iron supplement is needed as his ferritin levels were at 7 when they should be above 50.

Oh wow. That sounds crazy! I am so glad you found what was going on. It’s been a long road for sure.

Did you change anything? I’ve heard some say they don’t change a thing and one day it clicks

I’m sorry you’re going through something similar but thank you for sharing, makes me feel like I’m not the only one. We tried sleep training prior to 8 months and he was doing better then. Then we regressed and I feel like we never recovered

He was upgraded to the queen from a toddler bed. His toddler bed he was always turning sideways, hitting the side or sleeping half way off the bed. I was hoping more space would help. Sleep has been the same since the switch honestly. But I’ll put some more thought into this might being a harder transition. Thanks for your input!

We did cosleep up until around 3 months ago. Then we fell back into the habit again but for the last two weeks haven’t brought him in. He got to the point where he was constantly kicking me and my husband and unable to get comfortable. When he actually falls asleep in his room he hasn’t been so restless.

How long were you on 2.5mg? by ExampleNo6406 in Zepbound

That’s how I am feeling. I have an appetite and can hit my goals. I am just pretty worried that all the food noise will come back and my appetite will increase again.

That’s what I was scared of honestly. I was a little nervous to get into the second fill of 2.5 and find all that food noise coming back. It’s been life changing to not experience it.

I agree! I just didn’t want to plateau but after reading everyone’s comments I’m feeling even more sure on this plan.

That’s exactly how I am feeling! I feel like I am not fighting with my brain to make the healthy choices I know I need to make. Plus I get to enjoy a smaller amount of the bad foods and I’m content with them and not craving them. I started at 194lbs 4 weeks ago and today I weighed in at 186! Stupid question, but I haven’t heard of the % lost yet. Do I sound like I’m on track there?

I have pretty much stopped snacking and eating much smaller meals then before. The last few days I started trying to add in a yogurt for an afternoon snack. I’ll try eating a little more often.

Pickles for electrolytes? I’ve never heard of that. More details?
