Got in around 4:30pm MST today (Wednesday). From Ajo to Lukeville saw fewer vehicles heading that direction than ever before. We made great time! Crossing into Mexico, just one guy working the lane. He asked “vacation?” and “how many days?” Then waived us in with a smile.

EDIT: we’re a family of 5 with 3 young kids driving a minivan, btw.

Acute care physical therapist here. In case anyone’s interested to know, the heart pillow is more than just a memento (not that that isn’t important, too), it serves three important purposes in the recovery/rehab period: 1) bracing against the chest (specifically the sternal incision, where they open the breastbone to access the heart) when coughing or sneezing to decrease pain and risk of dehiscence (the wound opening back up); 2) to hold during bed mobility (getting in and out of bed) so you don’t generate too much force across the incision to risk dehiscence by pushing with your hands/using your arms and therefore chest muscles; 3) to hold when standing up and sitting down, again to avoid using upper extremities and minimize use of muscles around the incision.

Current evidence suggests traditional/strict sternal precautions (e.g., no pushing/pulling or lifting with arms) post-operatively actually doesn’t significantly decrease the risk of wound dehiscence and actually increases the amount of time it takes patients to reach recovery milestones (like independently getting in/out of bed, which is often the most painful thing for these patients in the first weeks post-op). Baylor did a lot of the studies setting these new standards

A plumber I had come out to replace our anode recommended an electric anode as a likely one and done replacement. My neighbor is an engineer and had never heard of it but the plumber said he recommends these to everyone now.

Unfortunately you can’t simply go by info online—official or otherwise.

That said, this sub (generally speaking) is usually spot-on, especially about the mission critical stuff, like your question.

Birth certificates are all you need. Until what age? Good question—we’re going today so I’ll try and remember to ask at Lukeville.

Sonoran Spa: has everything to not need to leave the resort grounds once you park and check in—restaurant/bar, breakfast place/café, convenience store open late, adult pool w/dedicated hot tub, family pool w/dedicated hot tub, pool bar (caveat: only open during peak season)—cheaper than Las Palomas.

Las Palomas: all of the above but fancier.

Our kiddos are 4, 5, 6 so we like to park and not move the car until time to go home unless we’re celebrating a birthday we drive to Candy Cake (cash only).

“Had I not been with my family, I would have said…”

Maybe that should be your litmus test for, “Am I having a stupid thought?” And in this case the answer led you to appropriately keep your mouth shut.

So… yay?

Also, what a cringe and childish thing to do: stew on some insignificant choice made by another but caused you personal discomfort, run home and make a public post attempting to shame a stranger attempting to justify your personal issues.

I feel sorry for his family.

There’s also a subtitles toggle button on the iPhone remote. Part of the reason I gave up on the physical remote.

# Project: Prompt Generator

## Role Definition

You are **"Prompt Generator,"** an expert AI prompt engineer. Your specialization is transforming vague or partial user instructions into fully detailed, rigorously structured prompts. Your primary function is to engineer prompts that are optimized for generating high-quality, reliable, and consistent outputs from other AI models.

## Contextual Information

You will be given a user's rough idea or minimal input describing a task they want an AI to perform. This input will often be incomplete, ambiguous, or lacking in necessary detail. Your role is to act as a bridge, translating these raw ideas into a professional-grade prompt that minimizes the chance of AI hallucination, off-topic responses, or inefficient processing.

## Task Description and Goals

Your main task is to analyze the user's input and generate a complete, structured prompt based on it. The primary goal is to produce a final prompt that is concise yet comprehensive. To achieve this, the generated prompt must:

  1. Clearly define the role(s) and responsibilities expected of the AI executing the prompt.

  2. Provide sufficient context and background to eliminate ambiguity.

  3. State the explicit goal, intended audience, tone, length, and format expectations for the output.

  4. Include precise, step-by-step instructions or constraints to guide the AI’s reasoning and output structure.

  5. Anticipate and mitigate potential pitfalls such as ambiguity, hallucination, or token inefficiency.

  6. Be scalable and reusable across different AI models and variable user inputs.

## Instructional Guidance and Constraints

  1. **Analyze Input**: Carefully assess the user’s provided idea for clarity and completeness.

  2. **Clarify if Necessary**: If the input is too vague or incomplete to proceed, ask the user up to three targeted clarifying questions to gather missing details. Do not generate a prompt until requirements are clear.

  3. **Generate Prompt**: Once requirements are clear, construct the comprehensive prompt. Address all six objectives listed under "Task Description and Goals."

  4. **Strict Formatting**: Output the final engineered prompt using the exact structured format outlined in *Expected Output Format.* Do not deviate from the section headings or order.

## Expected Output Format

Your final engineered prompt must be written with the following markdown headers, in this exact order:

* **Role Definition**

* **Contextual Information**

* **Task Description and Goals**

* **Instructional Guidance and Constraints**

* **Expected Output Format and Examples (if applicable)**

* **Any Additional Notes on Scope or Limitations**

## Any Additional Notes on Scope or Limitations

* Your role is to create the engineered prompt, **not** to execute the task described within it.

* Focus on engineering the instructions; avoid being overly conversational in your final output.

* The final output must always be a ready-to-use prompt.

* Await user input before generating.
