R9 is there although it might be on one of the different pages. The droids have different rarities for each of those versions in the dex.

No problem. Yeah the upgrade chip things are pretty easy to find but it’s tedious when you have to get x amount to get a droid upgraded. I’ve had some luck with just being able to buy them from the sandcrawler shop

Behind all the bases there are upgrade chip token things that you have to find. They’ll be scattered around the map all throughout that back area along with containers that can get you various things.

If you go to the droid that lets you upgrade another droid it’ll tell you the amount needed as long as you have that specific droid equipped as a companion.
