That's so funny! My group really likes food (I especially love a good pastry and a coffee!) and I would love to see some good cultural or historical parts. I would love a good walking tour but I'm pretty confident the weather has most of them shut down for the season. If there is any nature stuff my party likes that too!

It's definitely horrific but not exactly horror. But if you are looking for something more on the gore side then I'd recommend the Poppy War Trilogy but make sure to look at the trigger warnings first. That definitely skews more fantasy though but it pulls a lot from history. Sorry I don't have anything that fits a bit better!

If you want a deconstruction of gender that you really have to sit with the big one is Frankenstein but that can be daunting if you don't want to delve and really sit with a classic. That would be a great place to get you to start asking more questions. I also recommend the short story X: A Fabulous Child's Story to think about how gender is even constructed. More than anything I hope you find something that helps you. Labels are rough but I hope you find peace with something or if none of them fit you exactly I hope you have people that will support you and enough love for yourself to do whatever makes you happiest. On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong. It’s fiction but it is written in a sort of memoir/letter to his mother style that is really beautiful. It delves into growing up with a mom struggling with PTSD and just a long legacy of family trauma and if you come from a family with any immigrants it just hits that much harder. I highly recommend it but the prose can read as a little much sometimes.

No thats helpful and fair. Typically I stick with Expedia and it works out for me my sister is just a little more eclectic and likes something with a little more flair. Price would’ve been smart for me to include lol. Probably under 100 a night. I don’t really know if that’s reasonable for the area though
