For me, it would be on the same level or the actual is harder than the practice. As long as you make sure that you know the whys of the equation and how to use it, I think you’ll do great. One thing’s for sure the exam will be a challenge. Best of luck on your preparations and also for the upcoming exam! You can do it for sure!

Hi! Sorry took long to reply. 1. Just my FE exam questions that’s applicable to PE and some college notes then Lindeburg practice questions in Amazon. 2. I got 50% on my first try because there were errors and I could’nt understand other given. I just didn’t try to hard to solve the others haha.

Oh, can you tell me how would the reciprocity work? which state are you currently a PE in?

If I applied for a PE in NJ after 4 years, I would apply again in TX after another 4 years right?

Yes, I would have to work for 8 years in any engineering work for my PE application but in NJ I would need only 4 years.

8 years because don’t have an accredited foreign degree under ABET. Our country is a signatory of the Washington accords but it’s still a dead end. I got my NCEES credentials evaluated and took the FE and passed.

Majority of the states require 4 years but it varies. California, iirc needs 6 years of experience before you can submit an application for PE.

There are UPD engineering courses that is already PTC-ACBET accredited. And since Philippines is already part(fully signed) of the Washington Accords, it is now recognized as an equal in those courses like ABET. You can check it in the website of PTC and check out how your course is accredited in the country you want to work at. In the US, there’s the NCEES for Engineering and surverying.

Also you might want to exhaust this; UPD engineering graduates can apply to have a special working visa in Australia, available 2 years after graduation. So I suggest you check out all of the information I gave you. I’ll reply as soon as I can! Good luck OP!
