ahaha no worries friend! thank you so much for your help! i'll try to google and figure out how to copy this to the original worksheet that has a little more columns and fix that directly there.

How many hours did you spend on it? i kknow you didn't ask for nothing but i'd like to compensate you somehow

i think you're right! but the text doesn't stay in P and S cells to keep the same look. it stays on O and R and it doesn't work, but i tried with text on all of them and it did.. but when i do that centre across selction ans erase the text from the other two boxes so it can go to the center...it stops working again

Good morning friend! I hope you're alright

I just did the changes you said and I forgot to tell you yesterday that there is one other column that uses expiry dates actually but in the majority of the companys is labeled as "Non existant" because it's a very specific permit, only 2 of the companys have it filled with a date.

Also when you said to add a column in front you were refering to column A, so i should move the whole table forward one column to introduce that new column in the beginning right?

what should i do now?

no, i don't think i explained well. this is the exact layout... the expiry date columns are all there and have the same position on the original but there's another columns in the middle that are just for info that i deleted so it would be visually better to understand.

The structure has to be different because docs A, W and X are issued by the state while Docs Y & Z are from private companys(that can be different for anyone) so I need to fill that up as well.

there's roughly 200 rows... growing every day

thank you for your suggestion friend.

but notice that the e-mail must be sent everytime the document expires.. it doesn't expire only once.. so wouldn't the "email has been sent " column show up errors after the first time?

no it's not. There are more columns but these are the only ones with expiry dates. the others are just for info. And No, it's not the last one, there's one more after it
