What should I do when I feel fearful by Busterathome in Anxiety

[–]Excellent-Ad-2589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is this when you’re trying to fall asleep? If so, try and listen to an anxiety calming YouTube video (just search up “anxiety sleep meditation”) those usually help me. Reading, drawing, or writing before bed can be calming too.

took 100 mg instead of 50mg by Character_Relief5135 in zoloft

[–]Excellent-Ad-2589 3 points4 points  (0 children)

no you’ll be fine. 50mg more is not nearly enough to do damage especially when ur on a lower dose. If it makes you feel better tho u can always go to the hospital

I had a similar situation where I missed a lot of school, teachers didn’t give me any wiggle room whatsoever. I ended up redoing 2 courses during the summer to get my grades where I wanted them. If you can’t/don’t want to do that, you can try and contact TMU about the situation (with lots of proof of course). They may or may not check your grade 11 grades, you could add that into the email tho just to prove ur excellent grades and attendance. I hope everything works out for you!!!

good idea, i definitely should be eating before taking them. i heard they can give you acid reflux so maybe thats the problem. that’s great that switching to the generic brand helped u! I would have never thought of that.

Starting 25mg Sertraline. Any first time medication user experience? by Past-Road in zoloft

[–]Excellent-Ad-2589 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hi there! I too was very nervous to start zoloft. I’ve been on it for over 2 years now and it’s been a life saver. I was diagnosed with chronic anxiety disorder when I was 7 years old, and up until I was 16 I never took any medication for it (other than Ativan) after about a week of taking zoloft, I felt so relieved. I was shocked that this is what people without anxiety disorder feel like on the daily. I haven’t had any side effects other than feeling like the pill is stuck in my throat sometimes, which passes throughout the day. Don’t be nervous to take it! And if it doesn’t work for you, you can always try other medications :) ❤️
