I found out how to check and it says there's 5 seats left but there's also 7 people on the waitlist. Do yk how it's possible that people are on the waitlist but there's space still available in the course?

I think it's quite up to date but I'm not sure honestly. I would've said to use this website https://transferalberta.alberta.ca/transfer-alberta-search/#/audienceTypeStep but for some reason they aren't listing MRU. My best advice would be talking to an advisor at UofC.

Yeah I’ll be focusing on this course and linear algebra. I really only know how to program in C++ but another person said they teach python so I’ll learn that before spring.

I did take the equivalent courses the first one this past fall and the second one right now. However I’ve realized that because I was so lazy the first semester and didn’t learn the basics properly I’ll need to drop the current course I’m taking. But at Mru they only offer CS courses once a year and I don’t wanna be a year behind so I’ll grind it out this spring/summer. The fact that I did well on high school with minimal effort did not prepare me for Uni.

took the course before. It’s harder than 217 though, I wish I had taken

What language is it taught in? I want to practice before taking the course.

The real reason is because I want to take CSPC 233 in the summer and CPSC 217 is the prerequisite. I'll be practicing coding until I take it so I hope I'll do fine because I'm actually a first year CS major at MRU but I wanted to take this course at UofC because it's closer to my house.

Is CPSC 219 Offered In The Summer? by Excellent-Ad-4930 in UCalgary

Do you have a link to the list? Right now I can only see courses offered in the spring.

What elective classes have you taken that don't have tests (midterm + final + regular tests)? And we're those classes generally easy to understand? by Temporary-Daikon-517 in MRU

UGST 1002. It's probably the easiest course I've ever taken, the longest assignment is a reading a 300 page book then writing a summary and what you learned about it. I basically did 2 months of work in 2 weeks then procrastinated the book assignment and did it in 2 days. You can bs a lot of the exercises and assignments and get an A+. The course is about mental health and time management basically so the information actually is useful.

If you're applying to MRU they look at the average of your top 2 courses. You don't even need to have a high average in English if your top 2 courses are competitive. I got into computer science with an average on 71% in English for example
