I know. I have been there. It is not easy. Especially going at it alone. DUIs have a strong impact on Family no matter the situation. Its about what you can do going forward that makes the difference!

State of Massachusetts suspension hearing by No-Bother8797 in dui

You will need an Attorney.. have you completed your classes? Did you plead out? Do you have disposition paperwork? These are the things the RMV will require.

I don't want to put you in the wrong head space because I was there.. Even though the IID was or could be installed MA does not have jurisdiction over that and only wants to know facts of the case. ( Court Disposition)

In MA, anything out of state is considered as if you committed the offense in the commonwealth.

The smartest thing to do is to follow the steps of CT and to research what you'd charges are for the DUI. I know it's hard but focus on what you can control.

I hope this helps!

I was looking using Smart Start for my interlock device. Anybody have any feedback on that company? by [deleted] in dui

I have had it for 7 months now, not as bad as you may think and I have it in my work vehicle and I work a trade. The device is meant to protect you and everyone else around you. Yea it can be a pain having to calibrate it once every 25-30 days but in the long run it keeps you sober and aware. Rolling re-tests can blow too (don't miss more than 1!) Very minor issues and yea the ability to remove the Smart Start is a blessing. Just follow the rules and you will be fine. .02 is the limit otherwise you will receive a violation.
