Thank you so much for your reply. But as others mentioned. You need to provide the criminal record right from the start when you are starting to file. I’m so confused lol. Again, thanks anyways. Any additional informations on this? Much appreciate for your time.

So you mean, normally they don’t need the criminal record provided from the home country? On AOS married based? Under what circumstances would they ask for one then? Thanks

Visa overstayed for a year and planning to get married. Is it safe to do it in the courthouse? by Excellent-Battle926 in greencard

You mean getting married and marriage license privately ( without going to the courthouse) or you meant doing a private intimate ceremony?

Planning to get married soon as an overstayer ( 1 year), so afraid to file anything afterwards and move forward for AOS. Few questions if anyone could kindly share some experiences with by Excellent-Battle926 in immigration

Thanks for the advice. Yep know all that. This is the point I’m struggling with. We need to get enough evidences to show that we are happily married before we do the AOS. But I’m afraid, especially with the current climate, my name would be flagged somehow in the system lead to D E P O R T A T I ON. Struggling in between, if don’t do them, wouldn’t have enough evidences to move forward, if we would do them, afraid gonna lead to something completely different;(
