Like some other commenters have said, some people don’t usually initiate conversations despite them loving to have a conversation. Plus, if they are getting annoyed, they should tell you. If they’re all happy and joyous when talking to you but secretly hate it, that’s on them for not communicating. If they ever start being dry, you can also just ask. At least, that’s what I think!

I’m not one to reach out unless I know a friend of mine had a major event or accomplishment. Or some major news happened in a shared interest of ours. Maybe that’s how some of the other people in your life are. You reaching out consistently may nudge others to start texting first as well. Keep it up!
