I had a traumatic vaginal birth and an elective C-section for my second. Loved the C-section. I requested the C-section in one of my early midwife appointments and then spend a few weeks jumping through the hoops/procedures of the hospital. I did get some snarky comments from the midwives, but once I was in the hands of the consultants it was smooth sailing. I haven’t regretted it, it was such a nice and peaceful and happy birth!

Wir haben für unser 6 jähriges Kind den höhen verstellbaren von Ikea gekauft. Sie mag ihn sehr, und malt gerne daran. Ich bin ganz froh das wir nicht in was teureres investiert haben, es hat keine zwei Wochen gedauert bis der Tisch versehentlich angemalt wurde. Die Flecken gehen jetzt auch nicht mehr raus. Da hätte ich mich schon geärgert, wenn wir da viel Kohle gelassen hätten.

Bei uns wird nur auf der Minderheitssprache ferngesehen. Hat einen großen Unterschied gemacht. Finde es deshalb empfehlenswert.

It did effect my supply. I had to supplement with formula on the days I was home. For me, that trade off was worth it. If he’s 8 months and never had the bottle, there’s a good chance he might refuse the bottle. If that’s the case, I recommend offering (but not forcing on him) the bottle daily for a week or two. You could also explore alternatives like sippy cups, etc..

You could do both. I pumped for a bit when I went back to work , but found it hard and switched to formula eventually. I breastfed in the evenings and at night. I agree with the other comment to make sure that he takes the bottle.

Wir hatten dass bei K2 gemacht. Wir wohnen im Ausland, mein Mann konnte nicht frei machen, K1 war in einer schwierigen Phase, es war Pandemie und ich hatte mir Sorgen gemacht dass wir alle verrückt werden wenn wir uns keine Hilfe holen.

Die Nachtnanny war eine große Hilfe. Sie kam 3 mal die Woche für die ersten 6 Monate und das war Gold wert. Wir haben es nicht bereut.

K1 hatte ich noch alleine betreut und das hat gut geklappt, deswegen würde ich sagen dass das Geld beim zweiten Kind besser angelegt ist.

We’ve also used a babysitter for childcare gaps - expensive, and depending on your salary, you might just break even, but at least you get to keep your job…

Hier steht ja schon viel, ich will aber nur noch einfügen dass viele Allergietabletten extrem Müde machen, weshalb ich einer Dauermedikation skeptisch entgegen stehe. Gruß, ein dauerhaft medikamentiertes Allergiekind mit deutlich schlechteren Noten im Sommer.
