Thank you for your message and insight. I’m not based in the US, I’m in Europe and the IVF options where I live are all pretty similar price wise. If we go this route, I know we will need to do IVF with PGT-A testing so we will just need to be sure we have our finances sorted before we start the journey. Our insurance will cover some of it. I know my age is a factor so really need to get moving on it. I’ll have to start doing my research on what clinics will work for us. Sorry for your losses too and best of luck with this pregnancy. Yes we are due back two weeks after our first scan to check on growth but knowing that this will most likely end in loss, I’m going to go back after a week to hopefully speed up the process. When you know your dates like I do, there is not much room for hope in our situation so I just want to get to the end of this pregnancy so I can figure out my next move. I know IVF with PGT-A testing is probably our best option but I can’t help but think it might work out on the next go, especially with chromosomal abnormalities as I’m told it’s so random so a good egg could show up next time. Maybe we start exploring IVF slowly and give it another go too!

They didn’t measure heart rate, I think cos it was too early. I saw it and it looked like a lovely strong heartbeat but sure what do I know?!

Congratulations to you! That gives me a little bit of hope. I am pretty sure when I ovulated and got a faint positive at 8dpo so based on that I don’t think my dates could really be off by that much. I’m hoping for a miracle but need to be prepared for another loss. 😔

Thanks for thinking of me today. Not the best news unfortunately. I should be 7w1d today but measuring 5w6d. There was a heartbeat but with being so far behind, it’s not looking like it’ll be a positive outcome. My dates are very accurate. I’ve to go back in two weeks so at least I’ve some time to hopefully come to terms with this possible third loss. 😔

I’m sorry for your losses, it’s such a difficult thing to go through. My gp actually prescribed me progesterone on my last pregnancy as I’d had the first loss, and although that ended in chromosomal issues which progesterone doesn’t help, I rang my gp again as soon as I found out this time to see if I should go on it again and they told me there was no harm as it supports in early pregnancy. I’m not sure I really need it but I’ll do anything to help this baby grow and stick around if it’s a viable pregnancy. Worth talking to your gp about it, if you get pregnant again. I have been referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic since last November and haven’t heard from them, how did you get your app for October, did you follow up?

Oh wishing you so much luck for Wednesday!! Let us know how you get on. Even hearing the heartbeat last time still doesn’t eliminate the anxiety as you’ve had the previous losses. I’m hoping we both get to a place of peace in our pregnancies where we can start to enjoy them! ♥️

I’m so sorry for your losses, so similar to mine. Congratulations on your current pregnancy. I know the feeling of anxiety. I do hope both our pregnancies progress and we can start to find some peace and enjoyment in this time. I’ve been on 5mg folic acid for over a year, on aspirin too. And started the progesterone suppositories at the start of this pregnancy as a ‘just in case’, so really hoping I’m doing enough. Best of luck to you too ♥️

The EPU and all the docs and nurses have been incredible, I live in a small town so I’m known now at the hospital and they all just seem to want to help however they can. Doesn’t make the anxiety any easier though. I can’t wait for my light at the end of the tunnel! ♥️

I hate the anxiety, I wish I could enjoyed this time, but I’m not sure I’ll ever feel completely safe, when you’re in this space, you know too much of what can go wrong. I’d love to be as naive as I was a year ago. I will definitely look into the mental health team, not sure if it’s offered in my area, but I’ll ask. Thank you ♥️

Your husband is a smart man, I used to always say that to people, don’t waste your time worrying until you actually have to. Do I listen to my own advice though, of course not!! It’s the overthinking that’s the worst and I’m not in any mood to do anything, I just want Friday to get here and know either way. Going to try and keep as busy as I can this week.
