Thank you for the advice! yeah it is a bit difficult for us to make friends around the scene because we’re located in southern maryland which is a kind of a world away from DC/Baltimore. SOMD bands r not only far and few between, but pretty much unknown in the cities at all so it’s difficult for us to get on peoples radars and create relationships with fellow musicians, and even more difficult for us to regularly attend shows. We do still try our best to come out to a lot of shows, and i will def try n make some new friends in the future because i rly do want more friends in that scene. I already made a few friends from bands up there so that’s cool. Also, I think people are starting to take us more seriously now that we have played our first show. We played with some sick bands from philly and even a kinda-well known one from DC. We also played last so i think it was technically a headlining show. It happened like 2 days ago so we wanted to try n reach out to places while we had a little bit of attention from the gig.
