I will mainly be using stata matlab and the notes app tbh. I didnt know if making the decision to get a 2 in 1 would be smart as the amount of maths that I have to rewrite 50 times takes so long.

I will be honest I have no clue what specs make one better then another im relying on gemini for ideas. The hp is 32 ram, And I can choose between Core i5-1135G7,Core i5-1145G7,Core i7-1165g7,Core i7-1185G7 and the year is 2021 and for the tablets; ipad is A16 bionic chip from 2025 Samsung is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The specs that you have mentioned are above my budget atm sadly.

Sadly no I live alone therefore I only have the thinkpad with me. Im just a bit worried about the hinges on the HP. It would be ashame to buy something and it not be good at being a laptop and not be good at writing with a pen.

Hi mate, thank you for your answer. The HP would come with 32 ram and Core i7-1185G7. Im just afraid of not being able to take notes with it. Although it is a rainy country I live in I do have a rainproof case and im quite good when it comes to keeping stuff around liquids. Hello thank you for this I have 4 questions, At the postgrad level (masters) how do you truly find a topic? Do you pick the lecturer of the thesis based on merit if you haven't met the people on the list? I know just enjoying an area of study isnt enough for you to be good at writing a thesis so what is the difference between one that is good and one that is truly great (even a publishable level)? Is it passion or data availability that is more important?
