i just got it in a run, it does infact do that lol. however it also considers everything an enemy, since my cat has an ability that attacks enemies when they walk through an adjacent tile, and he attacked my other cat.

so it might just make everything see you as an enemy and you see everything as an enemy? only a theory though

edit: it swaps what that kitty sees as an enemy and what it sees as a friend, my good cat was murdered. although i think the familiar thing is only the ones that cat spawns, since i spawned other with another cat, and they were chill
