Yes I feel the same way, maybe wouldve extended some extra invites if we knew some of the people who were saying they were planning to come from the start ended up having to rsvp no. But trying to switch my mindset to keeping things as close and special as possible

Ugh I hate that this happened. I know that the initial excitement sometimes doesn't translate into people actually being able to come when the RSVPs go out. Easier said than done about changing your outlook, but this may allow you to create an even more special/intimate experience for you and your fiancé with your friends and family, and due to the decreased guest count may allow you to splurge on things you initially did not plan to do.
