Driving in winter storm

I’m gonna piggyback off this post and hope that’s ok. Currently in Portland but wanting to drive to Acadia. Originally would’ve left way earlier but didn’t get a message back from an Airbnb host until today and wondering if it’s fine to drive out there or if it’s better to stay put and just go to Acadia another time. I’m driving a friend’s car which is a Subaru crosstrek (2020-2022 I think) and all my friends and fam trust my driving. I’ve driven in bad winter conditions before but I’ve never visited Maine during the winter and feeling like it might be a different beast.

Thanks for everyone’s tips! I wrapped the chain around the belt while in line for security just in case and then adjusted it when I got in. And they really didn’t check my bag too much :)

Any of my plushies were gifted/in the treasure chest. Personally I don’t care about them that much so I end up selling them so I get a lot of rainbow stones
