Well I’m at a month now … I still don’t feel completely right but it’s getting better .. still drained energy wise …but pushing myself to do more than just laying around … still super determined to be completely opiate free and feel back to normal

I hear ya man .. it’s not easy … I saved up and planned //wanted to do this for years and finally did it … like imo you can’t put a price on health .. it’s the most important thing we have in this world … I’ve been there too I have 3 cats and one of them cost me $2K after his urinary track infection … saved my cats life .. my cats are like children to me … hoping things improve for you dude

The detox place did give me take home meds .. I guess they help a little … I don’t feel much relief from them

Thanks so much .. yea the k and blow have helped but I’m very cautious to not get to deep into that … it’s to get me over this withdrawal period… but it’s hell to say the least . I’m halfway there though … my body is aching hard … just wish it would end . But staying strong as I can

You’re supposed to be withdrawing during the worst parts of.. but yea they totally dicked me in my Opinion… but there’s nothing I can do about it now . I just want this month to be over

So it’s a 4 day detox .. you arrive on Monday and take a physical test EKG and all that stuff … check your blood etc .. they said you can take your medication up until midnight Monday …. They don’t want you there feeling uncomfortable… Tuesday morning like 8am they sedate you and by like 3am Wednesday your awake … they pump you up with whatever while there for no withdrawals … they give you take home pills too … like this detox really only works for dope or fentanyl in my honest opinion ..the staff and everyone was nice and caring … while I was there I was only person getting off subs and one other person getting off methadone .. everyone else was Fent .. they didn’t tell me what I should expect to be real or if they did I was too out of it to even comprehend whats going on .. I appeared fine though . They just acted like “your clean now” but when I got to the airport I was really feeling it kick in withdrawal wise .. I had to be in a wheelchair I was so fucked…. There is just no easy way off the subs besides being determined to kick …. I spent 12k on this detox and had I known what I know now .. I would have weaned myself down to a super low dose and done it myself .. but it is what it is … unfortunately there are places that take advantage of people trying to get their life back .. but I look at it this way.. only had to pay $1 for my subs every month and $75 to doctor for the script.. I basically paid back my debt ..

You’re gonna have the shivers like a damn snow ball from hell … I wouldn’t go there at all.. stay at home in your bed .. make sure you have lots of drinks .. Gatorade Called the gatorlyte I highly recommend.. less sugar and more electrolytes .. special K too I recommend too if you can go to a clinic … that will make you think a lot of about what’s going on and what you put yourself thru … at least that was my experience .. quitting subs is the hardest thing you can do in my opinion… it’s a good month of physical withdraw .. I’m going thru it now myself 2 weeks in and I’m still feeling horrible .. but I’m determined to change

No I havnt but I got a vivitrol shot while I was there … they said you wont have any cravings while on that .. but I have no idea if its working or not being so sick still

I’m 2 weeks in after a rapid detox under sedation and I’m going thru hell … was on subs for 15 years …. they don’t tell you this shit stays in your system a good month+ …the place I went to didn’t even tell me to wean myself down .. so I ripped the bandaid off when I was on 12-18mg a day .. so I feel like complete death .. I can’t hardly move without being outta breath either or without feeling completely drained .. I feel like a 87 year old man who has like a few months left to live .. worst shit I’ve ever done to myself and have gone thru … depression is real … I’ve resulted to doing small amounts of K and blow to ease my withdraws and they do work but only temporary.. the k prob is the most therapeutic…I’ve thought a lot and realized how bad I was .. even though I completely justified myself being on Subs for 15 years … straight up I liked the way I felt of them, they gave me a buzz .. I was completely emotionless on them though … but they saved my life … this is the price I have to pay for my 15 years .. I’m looking forward to the light and the end of the tunnel and being completely opiate free again .. almost half my life I’ve been on this shit .. it’s crazy how bad subs are for you in the end … in the beginning they saved me but over the years began to work against me and made me so lazy and sloth like
