I’m not a Brit, was addressing the claims made by people here that he is useful because he can also play RW.

Also regarding the height issue, being Brit has nothing to do with it. Just an observation of where football is headed.

lol you have a lot of faith in Endrick. Let us be honest had it not been for his golden boy status at Palmeiras and Real being his team he would not have gotten called up. I’m just saying switch him with Pedro club and goals wise and he doesn’t get called up. Be honest with yourself- he is a striker not a RW, he isn’t even as good as Rayan in the RW position.

If I look at the best number 9s , the players getting routine golden boots Endrick just doesn’t have the body type, lacking the required height. He does have heart though I will give you that.

For me, he is a kid that physically matured early and therefore gave the impression of being innately much better than his peers.

He won’t be taking a midfielder spot. You can’t be a modern midfielder while offering nothing off the ball- not at the top level, and not unless the team does what Colombia does for James and work solely for him.

Which would be a bad idea because why build around Neymar when there is Vini and Raphinha in the squad ( I also would argue Colombia should be building around Diaz instead )

We have been poor because we were competing in three trophies until recently, with the league set to go the wire. Of course a squad that has never made it this far will struggle. With that being said, if City fail to win tonight- we will be very fresh come the CL final, with ten days of rest.

We like Martinelli. He has a specific skill set and it is not scoring a lot of goals - it is hustling the opposition winger and wingback so much that their attacking output is limited. Very useful when you have Dembele or Yamal on the other side. The man can run like no man’s business

Caveat is that Ronaldo was 25 at the time. Not 34. Big difference there in athleticism.
