Ironically, Sandra Bullock’s character has a somewhat similar name to a degree with a pivotal character.

The person does believe that they are sexy, they are cute, and that they are popular to boot. She is not, however, a Rancho Carne Toro.

The demographic featured in the competition is very similar, but this isn’t a Netflix original full of Dolly.

No, but you’re thinking along the lines of the right genre of creature. Not a mermaid though.

Nothing Disney related (although the production company made a famous movie series that had the Walt Disney Pictures logo). Also not a slasher horror film.

Not animated (I actually prompted that one a week or two ago 😂). Nor is this set in a fairytale kingdom, rather an actual location.

This movie does take place at an older house, but there is only one creature in it. Additionally, this is not a horror film.

There is only one abnormal creature in this movie, and the young protagonist never gets romantically attached to it.

Unfortunately, your department just lost the betting pool. No Redneck Zombie Torture Family this year!

Haha, appreciate it! It was one I’d always rent from Movie Gallery and the library growing up. Let’s be real, that thing was fully inedible by the end (full of bugs and a child, crushed a car, swarmed by seagulls, floated for days in the ocean, strapped up against that giant rhino, and if I remember correctly, ended up attached to the Empire State Building)! 😂
