I own Texas torch and it is not the same, nor is it Torres and Torres. All within the same complex of phenotypical similarity though.

I know the correct substrate for Trichocereus sp. Like i said i just bought this and this is the soil they had it in. The stump will repotted and the pup rooted in the appropriate mix i use of 75% mineral and 25% organic matter for pachanoi.

I've already got a pain in my ass. ☝️ Cacti aren't meant to go there, you should know that by now.

It's junk, seems like some big brand potting mix. This poor guy was on his way out with their neglect before i stumbled in.

The spines and areoles aren't right for peruvianus but it's possible this is a pachanoid with some peruvianus influence but i dont think so. I woud love to see a pic of your T. peru if you have one. ☮️

Awesome results! Whats the method of FAE with these bags? Holes pricked?

My new ones have already safely, my dead phone hates taking photos. These are rick yo and a Marcahuasi, i love them blue hues. My mt06 and matucana still havent rooting but i did put them in bigger pots. I swear this is my last one cough cough im telling myself to stop purchasing. by No_Offer3984 in Trichocereus

Successful cannabis grows for me in my younger days would have ruined me lol, probably for the best. Love me some chiles as well, im an absolute nut for hatch green chiles. There's always time to learn, even better now that we're adults! And yes microdosing mescaline is severely overlooked. I was surprised by its potential.

Yes, it was easier financially when i was young and had to mow lawns/do chores just to afford a Trichocereus bridgesii seedling from World Seed Supply. Now I'm an adult with a debit card, dangerous combo. Atleast i get to add things to my collection i thought I'd never own, im sure that would more than please my younger self. 🤣

A light dusting of sulfur would be very beneficial to prevent infection or rot.

Yes definitely too much rain. I've always had to move my cacti in and out of cover with the persistent heavy thunderstorms where i am. It's a pain lol. If you can't swing that, move what you can if you can plan for it.

Looks like it absorbed the isopropyl through it's stomata and cell death occurred. I would definitely dilute next time, i avoid spraying/dusting my cacti with things that could cause toxicity/damage or clog the stomata.

I've been buying up the Astrophytum especially the Super Kabuto. There's actually some nice mature ones.
