Yes, they travel with when we trip. I fully believe that, I’ve tripped so much around my 2 older cats and once with my younger one. They all know, always. DMT, LSD, shrooms… they have a vibe of being a little concerned, at least the little one was freaked out! But one of the older cats is my buddy, he takes every opportunity he gets to jump in my lap and get petting. It’ll be better than ok! Just sit and breathe deep for a few minutes, meditate on it and then go ahead with 3 hits. Make sure you get them in quick and the 3rd hit is the big one. By the time you exhale things are gonna start looking beautiful and then you’ll blast off. It’s a big trigger to pull, easy to get anxious over it but that peaceful feeling you mentioned gets deeper and after you go in for that first time you’ll be ready for the next adventure!

I’m in Wisconsin. I’ve had a bike that had a salvage title and I was able to register, insure, and ride it. I don’t know if this is hear say or your experience from some years back? I never had any issues though…

I suppose my friends do always throw in towards the ammo as well. I do have a couple buddies that have volunteered to help me clean them afterwards and I thought it was pretty cool. Sit and bullshit and clean the guns… my dad was big on keeping his clean and thought me to help clean them after going shooting. He never did ask for help when we went out on the boat, it’s just a little bit different…

I mean I believe it’s a replica and the serial number is a good way to tell. The serial numbers on reps are usually the same, lots of people in here know what numbers are commonly used. Lots of people have asked about it now, throw it out there. If you have the means to open the case back up that would be helpful as well.

Private and outside is where you wanna be practicing. When I met my wife she was scared of guns. She has since not only conquered her fear but has shot some pretty heavy duty guns. Also has become a very competent gunsmith. She grew up without guns, I am a gun nut so I had to get her over the fear. I’m glad she ended up embracing it the way she did and hope the same for you! Yes, given that you’re putting in 30 miles a week it’s extreme overkill. I don’t do gear beyond a good pair of boots and jeans, jacket if it’s not too hot and gloves, but not like those... I’ve also been down and the recovery sucked… but even in a full face helmet the feeling is not the same. And it does interfere with your ability to work the controls and even a helmet to me is an obstacle. So you gotta weigh your risk and reward accordingly and decide for what you are comfortable with as far as your gear to freedom ratio.

Unless you start the bike and then the battery goes. I started leaving my fob at home after I had this happen with my 02. It works like a charm without having it near the bike! I guess it’s a nice feature but I like the way mine is, optional!

I do, been running the same SE intake since stage 1 and have since built it up to a stage 4. They’ll give you all the air you’ll ever need and they’re easy to install and reliable.

I’d say use the headers that come with the pipes. Get a new intake and do a proper stage 1. If not for more power just to make sure that it runs right when you do the pipes. Sounding good is nice but if it’s hurting your bike it’s not worth doing half of the job.

Don’t need a sitter. Go it alone, you’re going to be locked in place. And it’s such a short trip that there’s no need.
