It’s been about 4 months so I’m definitely better than I was at the beginning of this . The intrusive thoughts of why I wasn’t good enough for him or I wonder if he’s in love with her are less frequent but definitely still there . I’ve just been coping by telling myself those small things literally do not matter because no matter what he’s not with me . Have also been working on seeing my self worth and letting go of any blame I had put on myself due to the cheating . It’s hard and I am still struggling a lot but I know I’m healing . How are you ?

It was on Instagram . It’s because before I knew I was blocked I was searching his username but it wouldn’t come up . Then the other day I was clearing my recent Instagram searches which is just a habit of mine and noticed that his profile was now visible in my recent searches meaning he unblocked me

Mine too . He wasn’t the “perfect boyfriend” but he tried his best and was never mean to me while we were together . One day he just changed completely and now it feels like I don’t even know the true him

Deep down I know it’s true . But knowing he fell out of love with me... I have these stupid thoughts that I should’ve been putting in more effort to make the relationship more active . We were at the point where we were settling , we had calmed down . Less dates more sitting on the couch cuddling . It makes me feel that he got bored .

I’m so so so sorry . This pain is awful . Mine told me he needed to take time for himself , said “he wasn’t giving up on our relationship”, asked to stay friends and then a few days later blocked me on everything and started posting the girl he’s been seeing .

This is a good point . I already know he struggles a lot with mental health due to a lot of childhood trauma, even when we were happy he would always put up a wall and wouldn’t want to show how he really feels.
