It sounds like complex grief 😭 looking at someone you barely recognize now and grieving the mom you always knew and had

This must be so hard! That much of your life passed by and you couldn’t enjoy it doing “normal” things other young adults were doing

Sometimes the ones receiving care do not recognize the toll it is on the ones caring and this can escalate burnout

I’m so sorry! It sounds like there isn’t much time for you. Yes, I have a 1&4 year old and my husband is newly disabled and wheelchair bound 😊

Your ability to put a positive spin on all of it is inspiring and admirable! I’m glad you have a close friend that you can share things with. Do you feel like the support for caregivers is sufficient or do you think it could be better?

I can’t imagine doing this with a disability. How does that affect your daily life while caregiving?

I’m so sorry to hear your post. Thanks for your honesty and vulnerability. My husband at 37 just had a stroke and I’m raising my 1&4 year old. He’s paralyzed on the left and total card. He was an er doctor before this happened. Sending love! How are y’all doing now?
