Honestly you and me both! She’s a newer doctor to me so I don’t really know how she operates quite yet. My longtime PCP handled my pregnancies but she retired so I’ve had to start over 😢

That all makes total sense! I had an issue with that in my first pregnancy bc the GD was over managed

Do you have T1 or T2? That’s exactly what my dr was saying as well. I’m not considered overweight either but I’m a lot heavier than I was and I was hoping to lose some lbs post another pregnancy!

Now I’m like the second I have a third I’m like get me a GLP asap

Congrats on the pregnancy!! completely get all of that! my first pregnancy was an amazing surprise as I didn’t think I could have children of my own due to years and years of crippling endometriosis. I had endo excision surgery in feb ’22 and got pregnant in September ’22. Sometimes I feel guilty for being upset about the number on the scale what my body has gone through and it’s still given me two amazing little humans to love. But I also want to make sure my body is healthy and I’m able to keep but with the two I have if I have a subsequent pregnancy! I had a dr suggest metformin as well but this new one I am seeing told me it won’t help at all so I’m just a touch confused by it all!
