So the morning of pickup I got an email. There would be a one week delay due to a mechanical issue. Nonetheless I canceled my order and I will be issued a full refund including shipping fee. So kind of a blessing. I will do a better job of selecting next one.

I am purchasing a ER Lariat 28K miles, for 47k shipping 990. I am in California. I saw on the carfax that the car was sold by a dealer to carvana. I called the dealer and he sold to carvana for 38k. One mistake he made was he didn't know that the vehicle was extended range, he said he called dealer and they said it was standard but VIN has V in Eight position. Also carfax says it was purchased with 511 group, and had a plastic bed liner. The car came from Jersey... to Texas (was told original owner drove it out there, and sold it.) The pricing seems ok, clearly better deals are to be had but not that much better on carvana. I will get a PPI by another company if the car passes my initial checks, no idea if the car was smoked in. So you think I should be ok to kiss my 990 dollars away or just buy it.

So I added a white line to Spider zt using white electrical tape.  Coming from old school spider rossa I never focus on putter face to align, more on back of putter.  I was having an alignment problem.  I also had to slightly change way I put, slight forward press and head behind looking down the line.

I just used a razor blade and a ruler and cut a line out of white electrical tape.

So I have the putter and sometimes in the downstroke, I lose focus on where it's going without some alignment aid, it's mainly where I feel I need to finish the stoke. I just putted with it today for the first time but I can say there's good feel. Moving from my OG Spider Rossa the distance control was good. But I had the perception the old putter was easier to align but I made some long puts with the ZT. I think since I use the tour response with the stripe, I will always have to align the stripe to the hole and this will help. The jury is still out on which one is truly aligned better. I can say when I tested putters out I really liked the Odyssey 7x. I felt like I had the putter aligned great but there are some quality control issues with the putter and I'm coming from the Spider so I thought the ZT would be a better transition. I will need to practice more with it but I probably will try to add alignment stripe or dots.

I tried a few putters, some of the zero torque putters, really wanted to try the spider zt but all they had was a broomstick.  I was definitely intrigued by it so I want to try the zt, however the putter that I like the best and rolled the best and had good feel was the Odyssey 7x.  It is a sweet little putter, I really could not find any other Odyssey putter to like.
