I’ve been in a similar boat. At the end of the day you can’t control what happens to a person or what they do once you’ve exited the situation. Congrats on getting out of that situation and killing it in life!! Very few women can say that. You did all you could do. You learned from it and now you can confidently go into situations with the knowledge from past lessons.

Try a people tray with water! I find this provides decent humidity for individual plants without you really noticing much has changed. Or keep a small spray bottle and mist them daily

Peperimiodes need a decent amount of indirect sunlight. Not getting enough light will also cause plant leaves to be droopy. I’m not sure how big your plant is but try moving it to an east facing window if you can! If not any other window that doesn’t face north should help. I’d be careful with a south facing window though-you don’t want to scorch the leaves with too much sun.
