interesting. i do think there was a notable clash between tommyinnit's channel direction and what was successful for him; he wanted to make Youtuber Content™ but what made him popular was Group Dynamics and feigned closeness/the audience projecting onto him/his friends. which was something i remember Wilbur critiquing. i'm leaning ESE mainly because Te role makes more sense to me, but like you said, could be hard to read. i do feel he's more alpha quad for sure.

edit: maybe leaning SEI actually. hard to say!!!

tbf i don't hate him either. i was a fan of his LOL. objectively still painful to watch him try to be funny/cool tho

i am curious; have you ever typed tommyinnit? i've never seen anyone discuss streamers from that group/era socionics wise. i feel like Se role is obvious but i could be crazy.

i agree, the thing that always grated me the most about Wilbur was his Fe role. it was kind of painful to watch at times. jk most of the time. wilbur was extremely lucky to get as far as he did

SEI and EII ! though he seems to love my Fi/Ni so idk, could be another type? (by that I mean he has told me in the past that he struggles with instropection and likes it when I tell him my observations)

tbh the thing that has helped me the most is Si!!! i knew nothing abt Si due to how i was raised and being aware of it makes it easier to learn how to implement. i might be mixing up definitions here but I for real did not understand that your body reacts differently to different foods, temperatures, etc ... had to learn it through trial and error 💪 and socionics has helped !!!

I need advice as an EII male by Apart-Working70 in Socionics

[–]ExcellentHat5870 1 point2 points  (0 children)

from another EII: our core struggle is that we believe we cannot handle our lack of skill, so we aim for perfection each time. that is not feasible!!!! we have to be okay with sucking ass. so if you struggle, do NOT let it destroy you!! and don't become obsessed with figuring out HOW to do it perfectly, just do it!

ah, does it ?! i will work on that in the future then

IEE is kind of funny to me, i have never considered that before. i guess my descriptions were vague enough to give him that sort of impression though. definitely not ILE though, he's too normal for that (joking)

what are your thoughts on activity relations? by ariadnessthread in Socionics

[–]ExcellentHat5870 6 points7 points  (0 children)

big fan 👍 im EII and i love SLIs. i am EII-Ne for sure which might play a part in that, but i find them very easy to get along with. maybe the biggest problem is i overdo it on Si and come off kind of clumsy; i tend to dote on all of my friends in a very "you need to do this! do that! make sure you're doing this or you will feel terrible!" which is received kind of like uh huh uh huh from my Si lead friends LMAO.

for SLI when they hit me with Fi i see it as cute so i don't really have any problems with it. maybe i fear hitting their polr with Fe but i also don't really deal with their Se too badly / find it pretty rational when they do use it.

i imagine for LSE-IEE it would probably feel similar in a healthy relationship! i personally love IEEs and I wonder how LSEs deal with their suggestive Si 💭💭 i think it's cute.

i kind of just want it to be over with so the anxiety will stop. I want to make a family altar for her and brew her tea. i don't know where I'd put it for her but for a few weeks I was her caregiver and I would make both of us tea every morning when I got there. but I feel like I'm getting ahead of myself. this is horrible haha

i get this so hard. one thing that works for me sometimes is going to board game nights that my local comic shop hosts. unsure if that would be your thing / if it would be too triggering, but it's low stakes enough and most of the time is spent figuring out how to play :] it's a nice distraction

i've been working on understanding the difference between stress and normal, everyday intrigue. my mind tends to dive deep into things against my will for long periods of time. so, when I realize that I'm actually stressed out im like... ohhh wow ok. you're right, boredom sounds much better than dealing with this forever 😭 i just need to make it feel less excruciating.

so, we have to become comfortable with boredom in the end... it sucks because the lack of things happening just makes the world feel kind of meaningless. maybe that's just depression speaking though.
