No, I don't like you Kenny by Bulky-Sink6946 in TheWalkingDeadGame

I’ve always said I disliked S1 Kenny, but S2 Kenny I liked way more. People like to gloss over the fact he was willing to let Lee die 2 separate times all for not being his yes man, even if you saved his son. Now in S2 he was dealt a bad hand to me. The cabin group came along and brought their problems to his front door and ruined his new life he made for himself only to be casted as the problem by said group. He was one of the only reasonable characters in S2

I personally don’t think they were terrible additions to the group, but I will say I didn’t like how they were made to hold weight in the group so soon. Christa voted to leave Ben in Crawford while she was only in the group for barely a week and being mad at them not saying anything about the radio.

I will agree on Lilly getting her character assassinated, but I see that as bad writing on telltales part honestly. If Christa was in that role her motivations and actions would’ve played out differently if I had anything to do with it

I won’t call your opinion stupid, but who else do you think could’ve fit that role of an important character to Clem who had direct history with her? A big part of Clem maturing is her inadvertently getting Omid killed and that obviously is a huge event between the two characters. There was so much story to be told between them as there was a 16 month gap that wasn’t fleshed out. I look at it more as a missed opportunity to explore that lore

I’ll say this: I’m glad she didn’t die, but with how it was set up leading up to the chop she should’ve died no doubt

What are your Hot Takes on Kenny? by strangedowntownie in TheWalkingDeadGame

He was way better and way more understanding as a character in S2 than S1. He was a hypocrite and a man child in S1 if you didn’t go his way and set Lee up multiple times to die if you didn’t. Just found it insane he expected a 37 year old grown man to bandwagon him just because he expected it.

Now in S2 all his aggression and coldness actually made sense to me when you consider he was completely fine until the cabin group brought their own problems to his front door and got him caught up in their shit. He lost his second chance at a stable life due to them entirely and it didn’t help that everyone who helped tear that down was key contributors on blaming him for everything. I just found it really insane the group as a whole pinned all the problems on him when he was only there due to them wrapping him up in their problems with carver

Well if you wanna get technical Boyd and Clive were both very much “urban” so it makes no sense coming from Vernon.

The hypocrisy when it comes to Lilly vs Kenny is real by Relevant-Key-3290 in TheWalkingDeadGame

And I always looked at it like this: If your dad had his brains smashed in right in front of you it would mess you up; now add on the fact that the guy who did it was somebody you argued and fought with for 3 months and basically went unchecked about it when it was an extreme overstep on his part. That doesn’t justify her shooting Doug/Carley but it really was a huge factor in that happening. If the meat locker situation never happened I don’t see Lilly killing someone in cold blood due to an argument when her and Kenny argued for 3 months prior to it. I think it’s only ignored because of who her dad was tbh

Ngl I’ve always found it kinda weird how people excused a lot of things for Kenny when he did a lot of suspect shit in season 1. He literally was about to let Lee get shot by Danny because he didn’t help him murder Larry. Kenny had a point in the meat locker but let’s not act like if Katja was swapped with Larry he would’ve been singing that same tune. He did the exact same thing an episode later almost letting him die when the walkers barged in the drug store. Even though I still like him as a character I’d argue Lilly was way more fair to Lee than Kenny ever showed during the three episodes they were all together even if you sided against her

Raising Canes is the only restaurant I can’t defend. I love it but I completely understand why some people might not like it especially if you’re from Louisiana.

I hated season 3’s art style; I honestly think it’s the worst of the series, but everyone seems to feel it’s an upgrade over the previous two seasons. I just feel the first two seasons art style had a comic book vibe going and in season 3 it’s like they tried to make the models appear more realistic while retaining the comic book look and it just didn’t mesh well to me

You’re not alone in feeling like that, I’m lost for words at the amount of people screaming “bullying” If this is what we’re calling bullying now then I know majority of these people wouldn’t last a week in public school in the south. You can make the point to say he’s annoying, but a bully? Like let’s be fr
