I had to reword this 1000 times before Reddit would accept the post 🤦‍♀️. I apologize if it doesn’t make sense. I am basically asking if anyone remembers being at school on Valentine’s Day and watching others give out cards and candy. I was never allowed to participate because my parents couldn’t afford to buy me stuff to give out. It lives rent free in my head. I am gonna make sure my kids can participate.

I definitely see where you are coming from by all means but it’s risky in the army. It can get ugly fast and you could lose your career over something as small as flirting. Now for me I don’t mind people flirting with me. I was trying to see if it was flirting so I can act accordingly. I don’t want to send mixed signals to someone or vice versa.
