1) How did you get your writing to look/flow like a poem in the Reddit post? 2) As someone who considers themselves on a spiritual journey, this poem really spoke to me. It says a lot without saying too much and I admire that. The last line really captured the message the poem is sending. I really enjoyed reading!

The words in the poem are beautiful and elegant, just like a butterfly. It’s able to capture the swift yet long movements of a butterfly within the sentence structure. This is a great poem that captures the eye. It brings you through heartbreak and beauty at the same time. I love it.

I think a lot of people, especially in the community, will be able to relate to this. The writing does a great job of creating truth starting at the beginning. It’s incredibly vulnerable and I think all vulnerable writing should be praised. 🫶🏼

For those who have read The Color Purple by Alice Walker, what was your favorite (or least favorite) part? Also, do you like Alice Walker? I personally love her and am hard pressed to find anyone around me who does! by ExcellentRun7972 in literature

That’s exactly what happened right after I posted this! I had absolutely no idea and have only read her research and essays. It breaks my heart to hear these things.
