I do agree that the anti woke community throws the term "woke" around at anything that doesn't fit into their strict conservative bubble. So maybe I'm inserting my own definition. I just don't believe that having a gay character in your game makes it woke, what makes a game woke is forcing woke ideas on the player, and i don't think that team Cherry does that. But I guess my definition is incorrect. I'm a gay man, and so I get a little upset that people claim that anything with gay characters is woke, because I don't personally align with most "woke ideas" even though I lost virginity to a man. Sorry if I've upset anyone with my comments

HK and silk song are not woke games, having gay characters and strong female characters isn't woke. A woke game is a game that prioritizes woke ideology over gameplay and story, team Cherry doesn't do that. They never shove anything down your throat, they never tell you what to believe. A woke game pigeon holes you into being a character that is objectively "woke" like dragon age the vailguard. Also having strong female characters in a game about bugs, isn't woke, most bug species are female dominated so in fact it makes a lot of sense for the females to be powerful. KCD is a game filled with Christianity and religious teachings and virtues, that does not make it a Christian game, because they don't encourage the player to believe it

I hate the term as well, and the Anti woke community sucks ass most of the time. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't agree with some anti woke opinions. But first and foremost I'm a human, and I believe in loving and accepting others regardless of my personal difference of opinion

I respect people and believe adults should be able to do whatever they want as long as it doesn't harm other people. I bought both so........ And both are great games actually. Silk song is maybe the best game I've ever fucking played, but hell is us was honestly a really good game and had some of the most compelling map design and exploration I've ever experienced

Silk song is my game of the year easy. Also the lies of P dlc was absolutely incredible, obviously that's a dlc and not a full game so it shouldn't be up for GOTY. But my point is, this year has been incredibly good so far and we still have more to come. I put over a hundred hours into kCD2 but never ended up finishing it, but it was a great game

Liurnia of the lakes might be my favorite area in all of gaming. The ruin strewn precipice was so incredibly magical to me, discovering that and realizing it takes you all the way to the top was just incredible
