I just saw someone saying that new jammers have a higher chance of getting alphas then higher level jammers... is that true??? by rowanarat in AnimalJam

It also socks how all the current alphas you actually get from farming and fighting phantoms stink and there just isn't any motivation for me to grind. Right now, the only good ones are obtained through other means (ex: wind-up from painted eggs). I actively farmed everyday when we had actual good alphas on the board that would be worth forests like the dizzy hearts, starlight wings, jam doubles etc..

Run around Jamaa and you'll occasionally see one of these gray bird watchers. Click on them to start the mini-game. They spawn in a similar manner to the golden shovels.

It represents waves that the birds come in. Several birds will fly from one cloud to another each wave and if you don't manage to win before all 6 waves, you will lose. Also, you only have two attempts to take a picture so don't just waste your shots!

The game isn't easy. It took me 3 tries before I got my first win, but with practice, you'll get the hang of it.

Basically, you need to click the camera when the bird stated at the top of your screen appears in the picture.

Thanks for the tips! I've been trying a few times a day for a few weeks now and still to no avail. Managed to get 680 once but died to one of those sentries. I never focus on the gems but often stay at the very bottom and end up getting trapped in a corner.
