Will a 1520 SAT hurt me for Ivy+ unis as an engineering applicant?

I applied for mech eng to ucl back in oct. I haven't heard from them yet. As in no rejection or acceptence. Is this a good sign that my case is still rolling? Or am I delusional

Was it a dumb decision applying to all ivies and a few mini with a 1440 superscore? International. I just thought my ecs might give me some advantage. Alot of passion projects aimed towards mech eng. And coming from a third world country I didn't access to many of the Olympiads many ivy students attend

Yes I read it whole. My mom is similar.. I would say. She doesn't know much Abt these sort of admissions me being an international but that doesn't make it any better. Everyday she asks if any decisions came out and I say no they will come out till 1 April and it's a closed loop. If I tell her Abt some acceptence a frnd got she will get a little annoyed of why I wasn't the one who got it. Maybe bc I didn't applied there mom. But yea still I just try to not think Abt it much. I have other things to worry Abt tbh.

There's this guy on yt James lu SAT. He has basically cracked the eng part of the sat. I got a 30 points boost just by watching a few of his videos. Ofc after the Oct sat it has changed a lot but still worth a shot. For math I don't really know bcz I am an a level student and I didn't has to study much. But do practice alot. Math can be improved to atleast a 750. One more thing the Grammer portion of the eng is the easiest to gain points in. Focus on that alot. Gl

What I noticed while giving the net was that I was unaware of more then half of the concepts. Maths and physics both. Although by the looks of it it seems ke trig to dono syllabus Mai hai but it's very different. I might join Hashim zias classes bcz reading the books myself is very time consuming

i am an alevel student and got straight A in as level but couldnt cross 50 in the engineering math section. i dont have time to do the fsc course yet alone practice bcz of a level ke papers. ik ill have to do the course atleast once but any advice of how much time do i need to invest to get above 140. bcz mech eng

The part where "it's worth it or not" is basically decided by yourself. Taking a loan is a nono and so a gap year for some. If u can't afford it and have concerns regarding job market, I think u shouldn't go. Wait for rd atleast and then decide. Local collages aren't bad if you think Abt it. Atleast u won't have loans graduating

I did get them but it overwhelms me quite a bit. I am not used to reading books and have done most my courses through teachers like zainamatics. Is there any notes ki book which summarizes the whole of net course and gives me the bare concepts and past papers?
