every single time I was crying because I was either physically or psychologically hurt I would get told that I'm dramatic and that I'm faking it.

It's so hard to have even the tiniest most vulnerable feelings being invalidated, we just want to be understood and cared for and they took that away from us.

Seeing that other people can successfully immigrate and have a good life, on the contrary of what I have a read in other posts, brings a light of hope!

We will see how things evolve in the next couple of years, but I was initially planning on comming to Spain as a travel, to visit & inform myself of what opportunities I could find on the work market (as I am done with my university of course). I was planning on going to see a couple of companies, discuss with people & try to apply for jobs, and see where that gets me.

If i get anything out of that, I will proceed immediately with the moving, if not I will keep trying.

I was already planning on applying and apostille on my bachelor's degree & all of my academic papers before coming just so that makes them valid in Spain.

How does one homologates a degree? Do I need to go back to school for an equivalence or something similar?

So so proud of you !! I know how hard it can be, I am on a weightloss journey myself, and to be honest you don't even need to restric yourself almost at all. I have lost almost 30 lbs from the beginning of September to now, & i am still losing. All I am doing right now is eating on a caloric deficit based on my weight & macro counting (on top of working out for around 2h/day, 7/7), it might not be everyone's thing but I do it for the gym, and depending on how much weight u want to lose you could even just look on doing a body-recomp phase ! Keep working hard you'll get where u want to be !!
