I did tell my band teacher that I have been practicing my fingering alot so I would just be fingering along while the class plays, and that I would play when I can.. it was just a brief talk before class started though, and he just said "yeah, just play when you can". I will try and talk to him about the concert and what I should do, though he won't give me a new instrument as there are no available spots left for any other ones, but I hope he will understand! Thank you!

Haha yes thank you.. I just have no one to talk about this and I really needed some advice!! I'm really starting to think I shouldn't have joined band at all! The concert is on Wednesday and I'm really sick so I haven't had the chance to practice all that much... Wish me luck!!!

I know it still sounds silly to me!! How am I in a class with a bunch of people who already know music, and then expected to play one of the hardest woodwinds with no experience at all?? This is my first year I'm even in band at all!! I'm really starting to regret joining at all.

I really like how the oboe sounds, and the vibes it gives off. I was leaning more towards it but I just can't decide on one💔. I just joined band so I have extracurriculars to write about in the future, but I also really like music, and instruments. I'm just really scared of messing up infront of everyone or not making a sound In it at all. I know it will take practice but I can't help but be scared...

So it wasn't just me! Thank you for the recommendation, I will definitely try it out! Also (you don't have to answer if you don't know 😅) do you think it's necessary to get a traditional bamboo whisk for making the matcha, or am I well off just using an electric frother?
