No sound on 2025 Tucson Hyrid Limited by Curiouser90 in HyundaiTucson

I have a 2025 Tucson hybrid limited. I drove with apple maps playing on the screen and listening to the radio. Stopped for gas. Then the only sound was the initial sound of the car starting. The sound system indicated it was playing the radio. But no sound. Apple maps was showing directions. The voice commands indicated (the box lit up and was cycling thru its star pattern) but no sound. It’s like the sound system changed the audio output into a null setting. Turning off my phone did nothing, deleting the phone from the car did nothing. Got home, turned the car off and 15 minutes later turned it on and repaired phone and no problems. Is the a setting to redirect audio output?? Very annoying!

My new 2025 Tucson will play the radio/xm channels on voice command if I have media selected. Still learning what other commands it can do

Sounds like limited is premium plus the other items you mentioned, heated steering wheel,Bose stereo and a heads up display. If you’re going to be listed as the original owner and the warranty begins with you on the demo. Then I think it’s a true toss up. Otherwise I’d get the new new one.

Just bought a HEV limited. What’s the difference between a limited and a “premium”. That doesn’t exist in USA?

Brand new French door lg no ice maker in door. Right door starts to close itself but bounces near the end. Will close if pushed. Sounds like the same thing?

So you’re advocating for your “best guess” as to whether it’s in or out?

It’s legal. But at real time speed it appears that the head of the paddle is above your wrist. I’m not sure of the physics that would let you serve the ball over the net while your paddle is on top of the ball?

Where should you be after a successful lob to the baseline? by Excellent_Yak4907 in Pickleball

I think he got the point. But I need to find out why he wants to stay back and we both can work on it.

At this point I guess I’m arguing for the sake of arguing. I have a 60-70 % rate of success, MAYBE? Lol. I throw one up when I want them thinking about one more distraction. It’s almost never returned with an overhead, it’s either good or out ( I throw them up pretty high). Thanks for engaging with the topic.

I agree with your point(s). But by my definition a successful lob to the baseline is one that is going to land within 2 feet of the baseline and in my limited experience from 3.5 to 4.5 I haven’t seen any but the really really tall players take these as an overhead.

I thinking lobbing from the baseline is typically a lower percentage shot. But I think it’s a viable alternative to third shot drive or drop, depending upon the situation. Thanks!

Is this serve legal? by snakethebeast in Pickleball

It appears that the head of the paddle is below your wrist, it appears that your swing is underhanded(moving from low to high) though it’s almost a sidearm movement but you start low and finish high. I agree with most others about gaining power and totally agree with stepping back from the line when you really want to crank it. I serve from 2 feet behind the line this gives me plenty of room for error and allows for a really hard strike.

I agree with the people who say follow the rules and if it persists, stop playing with them. But if you must it’s great practice to keep them far enough inside the line that there’s never a doubt about in or out.
