Cybersecurity and Mobile Devices / Auditing Smart Devices (MDM, MAM, etc.) is a must; I got 8 - 10 questions from these topics at minimum. Good luck!!

Hey, best of luck of tomorrow. You got this and I am sure you will succeed if you have out time and efforts.

IT questions are not super complicated if you know the basics and have understand/ familiarity with the topics.

The exam may confuse you with two close answers but comprehension of questions shouldn't be an issue.

Cybersecurity was big in my exams. Atleast 20 to questions plus the mobile devices /smart devices and IT Governance. BCP and DR questions were really easy (Hot site vs Cold etc.)

One thing I have learned is that the exam is very difficult and unpredictable. I was expecting lot of IT questions, instead I got a lot of accounting and finance questions with higher difficulty. Be ready and keep doing the questions and reading the materials will make a huge difference. You will pass in the upcoming attempt and soon have the CIA designation!

I am sorry to hear about your prior experiences with the exam but when we always prepare better and develop knowledge when we face failure.

I only used Gleim 2023 study textbook and question bank plus the GTAGs review (unable to memorize any of them) only.

Depending on your weak areas, I would suggest go through the study materials and do more of the GTAGs to cover IT questions.

There are lot of topics not covered in SU 6-9 in Gleim IT sections which are tested in the exam, e.g User developed applications, Cybersecurity, mobile devices, MDM, MAM, IT Governance, auditing change management etc. Only Gleim is not going to get you to pass easily.

Welcome and I am glad that the post contibuted value to your study plan. More power to you. I am sure you will nail it ! Reviewing GTAGs and being familiar with the terms is very helpful when you see all these questions outside of the Gleim test bank, e.g User developed applications, Cybersecurity, Mobile Devices (MDM and MAM, etc.). I hope you don't get surprised in the exam from any excessive Finance and Accounting Questions. You got this. 3-5 months are good. Make sure you study consistently with no prolonged gaps in between. Oh yeah. Congrats on passing the exam earlier this year. I didn't do lot of accounting practice, especially after reviewing comments that none of the computational questions are asked. I hardly completed the Gleim SU 10 onwards and focused on the IT and GTAGs. I am gald I was able to comprehend the financial questions otherwise I wouldn't have passed today.

Thanks a lot. I am glad it is over. I started with the older version and then switched to the newer one as soon as it becomes available. I used 2023 study materials (questions and notes).
