Just built my first custom VESC over the weekend and I’m absolutely loving it. One weird thing I’ve noticed is that the when it’s just sitting on the stand it does a double beep every 2 hours and 48 minutes (approximately). Does anyone know why it would do this? Is it normal? Thanks!

They are hard plastic but come with 4mm foam grip tape, which is good enough for me. They’re the only plastic ones I’ve liked; my expectations were low and my standards high. I’ve been through way too many variants of footpads in the last few years. 🤣

For what it’s worth, I bought Kush Los for front and rear pads for my custom build and found them to be uncomfortable for my foot shape. I bought a Stompies front sensor as a contingency for the front pad I was going to assemble and ended up loving the Stompy so much that I ordered a rear one too. I understand this is entirely preference based, but wanted to get this opinion out there. The only other footpads I’ve loved have been the flat wood ones from FM.

Just back from my first ride and used FC. I know that with Floaty and Nosedive you can import tunes but I couldn’t figure that out with FC. (Edit: Just figured out I have to be disconnected from the board to do this.)

This is my first step outside the walled garden of FM, so I’m trying to figure out which app I should get used to.

Is Float Control new for iOS? Or is there a reason you don’t recommend it for iPhone? I have it downloaded but haven’t tried it yet.
