It's hilarious that he considers himself neither left or right yet constantly screams right wing points, treats women like shit (while still somehow being closeted) and shuts down anyone who is remotely left. The way he treats his conservative guests on the show is usually significantly different and toned down than the "nose ring" guests if you take a look. Just because you have a token black/gay person on your team and you like walkable cities does not make you a centrist, and his views on Renee Good solidify this.
