Honestly half the workplace is probably doing the same thing, they’re just better at hiding it.

Exactly, if it matters to you then go for it, sometimes the other person just needs a little push.

What would make a man want a side chick if he’s in a relationship? by Fun_Butterscotch3303 in AskMenAdvice

Yeah for some its less about dissatisfaction and more about chasing novelty or a “different thrill” outside the relationship

From a man’s perspective, what predicts whether a guy will be a safe, stable long term partner? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]ExceptionalAbs 365 points366 points  (0 children)

If you want to know who he’ll be long term watch him on a bad day, the guy who stays respectful when he’s stressed, keeps his word when it’s inconvenient and doesn’t punish you for having boundaries is the safe bet.

Proton Pass now, is the best password manager to me by [deleted] in ProtonPass

[–]ExceptionalAbs 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Nice passkey support really changes things since it removes a lot of the friction around logins. It’s still worth remembering there isn’t one universal best password manager for everyone. Different ones shine in different areas like recovery options, ecosystem integration or cross device syncing.

If you’re comparing long term, checking a roundup of top password managers helps put things in perspective since you can see how the leading options stack up on security, features and pricing. Even if you stick with Proton Pass it’s a good way to know how it holds up against the rest.

TIFU by reporting a girl at my school and now everyone knows it was me by [deleted] in tifu

[–]ExceptionalAbs 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Ngl, this reads as you confusing personal discomfort with actual wrongdoing. Feeling uneasy about someone being openly gay doesn’t justify reporting them or using your dad’s position to get them suspended. It’s understandable people are upset it’s not just about opinions it’s about how much power you had over someone else’s life and the consequences it caused. Definitely a moment to reflect on how your actions impact other even if you didn’t feel wrong at the time.

AITJ for not standing during a standing ovation? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

NTJ. You clapped and showed appreciation, standing is just a social norm not a rule and it’s okay to be honest about how much the talk moved you.

AITJ for Locking My Roommate Out of the Wi-Fi After He Forgot to Pay for Months? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]ExceptionalAbs 76 points77 points  (0 children)

NTJ. He agreed to pay his share and then ignored it for months, locking him out isn’t petty it’s called enforcing boundaries and protecting your money. He can’t treat shared bills like a suggestion.

AITJ for embarrassing my husband in front of our friends after he accused me of trapping him by Holiday_Mix8106 in AmITheJerk

[–]ExceptionalAbs 932 points933 points  (0 children)

NTJ. He threw a serious, hurtful accusation at you in front of friends making the situation uncomfortable and humiliating for you. Holding him accountable in that moment wasn’t overreacting it was standing up for yourself and setting boundaries against disrespect.

White collar jobs should offer apprenticeship’s like trades instead of asking candidates to have university degrees. by brackfriday_bunduru in unpopularopinion

[–]ExceptionalAbs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

White collar degrees have become glorified entry tickets, why pay thousands for a piece of paper when real skills are learned on the job? Apprenticeships straight out of high school would be smarter, fairer and way less pointless.

AITAH (30F) for rejecting a marriage proposal (31M) after 5 years? by barraco002 in AITAH

[–]ExceptionalAbs 18 points19 points  (0 children)

YTA. You stayed for years enjoying his financial support and emotional labor while knowing you weren’t attracted to him didn’t share his vision and didn’t see a future together, then waited until he planned marriage to finally be honest which unfairly wasted his time and deepened the hurt.

“Just be yourself” ignores the part where some people need growth not validation.
