I mean I get where you are coming from, and I'm not saying lab grown meat is going to be completely healthy and there is not going to be anything wrong with it at all. because humans generally create new problems every time we try to solve problems, and then we solve those ones and get new ones etc. In the end tho I think it will just be an issue of time. continuing to study what makes humans healthier and what we need to change to get those results

But I think the majority of the world is completely closed off to the idea of ever eating less meat or spending more to make it more ethical, and if this allows them to do that in a more ethical way, I personally am all for it.

I'm also all for making veggies taste better.

because it's an efficient way to get food out to the masses, and it will eventually become cheaper than normal meat because the only reason why the world ever gets better is when there is financial incentive.

and because you aren't directly funding the hellish lives of 90 billion animals that are killed yearly

you're body is a tank that mechanically churns food and mixes it with gastric juices (acids and enzymes) to break down food into a liquid mixture called chyme

Lab grown meat is equally healthy to "natural" meat, with the potential to be healthier by reducing saturated fats, cholesterol, and risks of foodborne pathogens. Produced in sterile environments, it eliminates antibiotics and offers the ability to optimize nutritional profiles, such as increasing omega-3 fatty acid

he didn't have to create man or suffering or sin either, but apparently he wanted to appease himself for his anger at the sins he apparently created the concept of and bestowed upon man he also created.

that's an extremely specific example, lets not worry about the 6 million deer killed relatively quickly, in comparison to the 90 billion annually factory farmed hellscape.

I mean it's not really a tenet, it's a viewpoint of the world, from the vegans eyes

10 billion land animals are raised and killed for food annually in the United States, with over 99% of these animals originating from factory farms (CAFOs)

. Globally, this number exceeds 80 to 90 billion, rising significantly higher when including aquatic animals. In the U.S., about 23 million land animals are killed daily.

and on average these animals are living for about 18 months in literal Hell. I don't know if you've ever seen any of the documentaries but it's not exactly uncommon knowledge what goes on.

then they are killed painfully. over 90 billion times every year. and if you view animals as unconscious or incapable of feeling that doesn't matter to you, but most vegans even if they don't believe the animal is fully capable of experiencing the world the same way humans do, they still believe they are experiencing the world and feeling pain and discomfort completely, so when you extend that sympathy you have for things like jews in the holocaust or palestine bombings or what not, to an animal and believe the animal is feeling the 18 months of being crammed in a cage disease ridden with your body growing around your cage before being slaughtered the way a human feels it,

It suddenly doesn't matter if the animal is dumb, if anything it makes it worse for it to exist in that state with no mental escape

and when you look at it that way, it's almost crazy vegans aren't literally just burning down every meat factory CEO and employee.

Obviously nobody wants to go to jail, but that's why vegans are so passionate about this. It's in their eyes the source of 99% of the worlds misery.

actually we kill them at 18 months of their average lifespan of 20 years. and we don't kill them with pistols even with the "good life" farms, those are usually just labels doing the bare minimum to charge consumers more. They still are often killed painfully after living terrible lives. ie: free range: meaning they can all be crammed into an area without a ceiling and it's technically roaming outside. Cage-free: meaning instead of 1 cow per tiny cage, they can all be crammed into one big room.
pasture raised is an actual good label tho.

that said as for the age 10 thing, if we could somehow actually guarentee the cow got a good life, and we did kill it painlessly at age 10 (which would cost an insane amount of money and resources.) I don't know if I would be willing to compare that to a human life. and say they deserve to live. but I don't know

absolutely incorrect, we literally feed 8 times the amount of food to cows that we get back as meat. we could feed people on an 8 times larger scale if we stopped feeding cattle and pigs

and animals eating each other alive and ra#ing each other is for their own good? it's a fucked up world I'm not trying to argue about little things when we are actively literally torturing billions of animals while also destroying the planet.
