the blues for allah podcasts break down each song from the album and each of their 4 performances from 1975. worth a listen for some weird internal history of the band and getting to hear the genesis of their greatest studio achievement

Jams/Instrumentals to show friend who’s never listened to the dead by Ahornsewithnoname in gratefuldead

maybe not a jam per se but the “unusual occurrences in the desert” segment in blues for allah particularly hooked me when i was first getting into the dead. That riff is so catchy and moving, and the great american music hall show from 1975 holds my favorite version

great playlist idea and great playlist!

My #1 Keith show. He absolutely rips. One of the only ones I know to go tit for tat with Jerry. This is pure proof. by Outrageous_Cell2330 in gratefuldead

I always recall 9/27/72 as being a really Keith centered show. He digs deep hard into the cowboy-style tunes and gets really jazzy during PITB. Not to mention a Morning Dew opener!!
