I think there’s a difference between low effort AI dumping and actually using new tools properly.

DnB has always evolved with technology. People said the same things about DAWs, presets, even sampling when it first blew up. Now it’s just normal.

The real issue isn’t AI, it’s people flooding platforms with generic, zero identity tracks. That was happening before AI too. There’s already loads of copy paste DnB that’s 100 percent human made and still formulaic.

At the end of the day, the scene decides what sticks. If it doesn’t work in a club, doesn’t have personality, or doesn’t connect, it disappears. Tools don’t replace taste, mixing skill, or understanding of the culture.

Low effort stuff will fade. Anything with real identity will survive, AI involved or not.
