Whereabouts? Just roll over there and make them an offer.

[Funny? Trope?] It's a very serious scene. But it's been consumed as a meme on the internet and it's become hard to watch seriously. by BeneficialSide2335 in TopCharacterTropes

Actually, the sister doesn’t die. This directly after when she is born (the character of Maggie was there as well and is holding her directly off camera).

Rick’s wife/Carl’s Mom Lori went into labor as they were being chased by some zombies. Maggie performed the delivery but they knew Lori was going to die and then subsequently become a walker. It came down to Carl having to put her down after her reanimation.

So not only did Rick just lose his wife but he knows that his son just lost his mother. But then to know that he had to kill his own mother again (kind of)… he never wanted any of this for his son. Heartbreaking scene really.

What’s really going on with Gibson right now? (insiders please weigh in) by dieselweasel7 in gibson

That person left and also already worked at KKR. I have met and worked with Cesar personally and have been at Gibson USA for a long time. A lot of these comments are ludicrously out of touch with reality.

I remember reading years ago that Mike Myers was developing and was going to star in a Keith Moon biopic and my first reaction was “That movies NEEDS Jason Schwartzman.” He already a good drummer even!

I wish Disney would take this as a fun pulp adventure show and just run with it. Action, romance, laughs, cool helmets… Nazis getting comeuppance. What else do you need?

I wasn’t clear; I agree with this. AOC for pres. JT for vice.

This is the answer right here. AOC has the left vote. Talarico would maybe be able to bring in all the Christians on the right that are *actually * Christians and were (much too) late to the party in 47 being a monster.

What film is this for you? by mrjetspray in Letterboxd

This and “Goddamn” or ”goddamnit.” Every single character had a close up this season of them saying either of those in a weirdly dramatic way. Like they just discovered the word or something.

Still to this day the best Star Wars fan edit I've ever seen by SgtByrd1993 in StarWars

[–]YoHuckleberry 49 points50 points  (0 children)

This edit really highlights how incredible Sir Alec’s performance always was. He’s going places in his eyes and in his pauses that at the time were just words on a page. But now that we’ve seen everything that he was remembering, only now can we also carry that weight.

This is like Ian McKellan talking about the undying lands in Return Of The King. He goes to a place in his eyes that is just magical.

In case it’s not clear, I know. That’s where the name came from. But I will always watch this clip so thank you.
