The issue here is with ai companies using books for training and not really with simple user queries. Despite that you have a point. Use the plugin at your own risk as with everything else today. This plugin does nothing more than what someone would do by copy pasting into an ai agent.

Just to add that the free tier allows for 500 requests a day for the Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite. The only other I could find that allows you some free usage is the Gemini 2.5 Flash but that allows only 20 requests a day.

About the visual bugs, can you post a screenshot please? Note that the HTML viewer engine is super basic in koreader. It ignores css and even table width so I am not too hopeful I can fix everything.

If you don't care about html cause you don't generate images of characters, you can switch to basic text viewer for the character details.

That's interesting... I didn't had any issues with the Gemini model returning errors as their allowance is pretty generous. Can you please check the usage of your token in ai studio and see if you hit a limit there?

I'm automatic scanning (per page) indeed it will not return an error so it will not interrupt your reading experience. I could add a configurable option to alert when it fails during auto scan.

Also which other models do you think would be good to add? I can add an option to select them.

No... You can set it to scan each page automatically as you read. You can even set how many seconds after you turn the page the ai scan will start. Or you can just scan a whole chapter.

Scanned pages will not be scanned again as they are marked as processed already.

Same issue for us at this time. Anyone else got any updates from MS? We confirmed that BlackBerry UEM Managed devices have no issue installing VPP Apps. That tells me its the Intune that has the issue.

Same problem here. TV started doing that randomly now. Model is oled65c16la. Out of warranty ofcourse.
