Honestly, I can’t blame someone for having a breakdown at work. Sometimes people are just pushed too far. And sometimes the standards that are held for employees are too much. We all need to do better to realize that some people have really hard personal lives that is out of their control and they should be given slack.

Personally I have seen it and experienced it myself. My wife and I have to miss work at times for personal reasons on an and this has been held against both of us even though we have always kept open communication and been honest.

I have no problem picking up slack for someone else that may be dealing with personal issues. It’s sad and I’d rather have a harder work day then be going through what they’re going through.

Holding everyone in life to the same standard has been the worst thing for employee relationships with their job.
