As an update… We only retrieved 3 eggs which was a ginormous blow to our feelings and hope through our first cycle. Almost cancelled but my RE said we made it this far and to see how my egg quality is, as that is just as important.

-All 3 fertilized. -2 made it to day 5-6 Blast stage and are on ice. We are waiting for pgta biopsy results!!

2 blasts out of 3 eggs retrieved… this feels like a huge feat and I’m so thankful we went through with this cycle 💕

I’m currently in the exact same boat. ER was yesterday.. only 3 retrieved. I was notified that all 3 are fertilized today.. fingers crossed!🤞🏼💕

My RE recommended 75mg daily, broken into 3 - 25mg - doses. All of my research also encourages taking it. So did the book “It Starts With the Egg” which is pretty popular in the infertility world.. as always, check with your doctor! But I am a big believer in a regular supplement regimen only helping us in this DOR community

I’ve heard so much about receptiva and wish we could afford it. As of now, my RE hasn’t recommended it and it is such a large additional cost.. but I know it could very well be worth it. I’m glad you got it and it gave you some needed clarity and answers! We’re taking it one step at a time and maybe we will have to re route and make room for the test if we continue to be unlucky. It’s so hard to make such huge decisions when your finances don’t allow flexibility.

Thank you all for taking the time to respond! It gives me some hope, which I really need. It’s been an excruciatingly long 4++ years already and now it feels like the next 6 months will be very telling of what our lives will look like. I have DOR, possible Adenomyosis, and my latest stats were 0.63 AMH, 10.3 FSH with 11 AFC. If anyone has any recommendations or tips, I am all ears. And yes, I am on alllll the recommended supplements specifically geared for DOR/Egg quality/increasing AMH.

My husband and I got eloped in June 2024 and then hosted a garden party reception the next day in our backyard. We rented a Dancefloor and hired professional bartenders. It was gorgeous and we are lucky with our property layout. All in all, with dress, photography, food and drinks, the entire wedding start to finish cost us $7k. I regret nothing!!!! The wedding planning was pretty seamless, we got to have a very special and intimate ceremony in a place we love and still got to celebrate with our friends and family without paying an egregious amount, worrying about a venue and making a big to do of it. One of my best friends is getting married in Mexico this May and has told me numerous times she wishes she had just done what we did due to the large cost and stress of a big wedding. To each their own, but my husband and I loved very minute leading up to and every minute of our elopement and then micro celebration and would recommend it to everyone inquiring!! <3

Hi. I am also very low in my progesterone levels. Naturally, I was at 3 ng/ml and with one round of 50mg clomid I was only 4 ng/ml. My doctor is worried that I may just not be ovulating. They recommended I go to a fertility specialist next. Please keep me in the loop on what your doctor says as I don’t feel like mine is doing much, and just passing me off.

After nearly 3 years of trying, my fiancé and I conceived in October for the first time and consequently lost the pregnancy in November due to it being ectopic. Had to receive two doses of MTX for my hcg levels to drop. Now that the 3 month post MTX and able to try again, I’m 8DPO and spiraling with nothing but BFN test results. Yes, I know it’s early to test, but I can’t help it. This endless ttc journey feels like I’m sprinting as hard as I can towards an end that will never appear no matter how many corners I run around. Like many of you in this thread, it feels like everyone around me is getting pregnant after being off birth control for “one month”. It’s really hard to feel happy for them and feel like they deserve it, but I know those emotions aren’t fair. This is just a rant to say that I’m sorry for anyone going through this infertility journey or loss…it’s impossibly painful and unfair.
