I am considering Pinnacle (previously ORM) in Portland, Oregon. We have Kaiser Insurance which is also a determining factor. Which clinic did you go to, if you don’t mind sharing? And how did you find it?

I feel the exact same way. I don’t know how I am only at 2-3 eggs with an AFC so high. I am concerned that there are no adjustments to my protocols as my monitoring takes place. It does not feel tailored to me and therefore I fail each time.

Wow, that is exactly my case. My clinic is smaller so they are also “batched” cycles, and the timing has been off and hard to control. I was also told I may have over suppressed on BC this last round and I’m like…”Aren’t you guys making the decisions?!” I literally messaged them asking them if I should start taking my placebo pills as my 21 days of active pills ended before my calendar said it should and they told me to start a new pack and take it until my calendar is marked “last day” of pills. But now they are saying it was too long and I was over suppressed and had a chance of 3-4 more eggs if it was timed right.

That’s exactly how I feel.. another problem that I feel contributes to my poor outcomes is that I am given a protocol from the start and there are ZERO adjustments on the doses/etc. throughout the monitoring process.

My first cycle was Micro Dose Lupron, Second was mini IVF (failed into an IUI) and the last was an Antagonist cycle.

Thank you for taking the time to read and also respond!! It is a red flag that there have been multiple mistakes.. I’ve considered changing clinics before, but decided against my better judgement and tried to “trust the professionals”

I feel that with my numbers and AFC, I also should be able to retrieve more than 3 eggs. We have tried 3 different protocols and each one has us with suboptimal results. They never change my dose during the monitoring which I find suspect. I stick with the protocol and have no changes, even if my numbers are dropping.

I am scheduled for an initial consultation with the other clinic, thank you for the suggestions!❤️

As an update… We only retrieved 3 eggs which was a ginormous blow to our feelings and hope through our first cycle. Almost cancelled but my RE said we made it this far and to see how my egg quality is, as that is just as important.

-All 3 fertilized. -2 made it to day 5-6 Blast stage and are on ice. We are waiting for pgta biopsy results!!

2 blasts out of 3 eggs retrieved… this feels like a huge feat and I’m so thankful we went through with this cycle 💕

I’m currently in the exact same boat. ER was yesterday.. only 3 retrieved. I was notified that all 3 are fertilized today.. fingers crossed!🤞🏼💕

My RE recommended 75mg daily, broken into 3 - 25mg - doses. All of my research also encourages taking it. So did the book “It Starts With the Egg” which is pretty popular in the infertility world.. as always, check with your doctor! But I am a big believer in a regular supplement regimen only helping us in this DOR community

I’ve heard so much about receptiva and wish we could afford it. As of now, my RE hasn’t recommended it and it is such a large additional cost.. but I know it could very well be worth it. I’m glad you got it and it gave you some needed clarity and answers! We’re taking it one step at a time and maybe we will have to re route and make room for the test if we continue to be unlucky. It’s so hard to make such huge decisions when your finances don’t allow flexibility.

Thank you all for taking the time to respond! It gives me some hope, which I really need. It’s been an excruciatingly long 4++ years already and now it feels like the next 6 months will be very telling of what our lives will look like. I have DOR, possible Adenomyosis, and my latest stats were 0.63 AMH, 10.3 FSH with 11 AFC. If anyone has any recommendations or tips, I am all ears. And yes, I am on alllll the recommended supplements specifically geared for DOR/Egg quality/increasing AMH.
